Behind the Walls - Akos Construction

This home is Net Zero! Certified through Earth Advantage, this home features triple pane windows, exterior insulation, and an air-tight envelop. It uses hyper-efficient mechanical systems such as the Mitsubishi mini-split heat pumps, 65-gallon Rheem heat pump water heater, and a Broan ERV. The home also has installed renewable systems with solar panels, green pipe water supply lines, and rainwater harvesting for the toilets and irrigation. Come and spend some time with Issac as he shows you his innovative problem solving techniques.

This event is presented by the Home Performance Council. Designed to give a behind the scenes look at a new development that fits within high performance home building, it gives viewers the chance to ask questions to the general contractor and learn about the specialty techniques used within the process.
