About the Development

The buildings on the development are airtight- less than Passive House levels, all wood above ground assemblies, full rainscreen siding, triple pane windows, exterior insulation, permeable wall assemblies (allowed to dry out in both directions), balanced ventilation with heat recovery, heat pump unit (all in one with the ERV- Minotair units), 100% LED lighting, low flow water fixtures, panelized construction, fully continuous insulation (below grade, too), dense pack cellulose insulation, vaulted roof assemblies w/cellulose insulation, heat pump hot water heaters, metal roofs, all natural landscaping with native plants, solar PV ready on all homes, solar PV above parking structure, electric car chargers, rainwater collection, raised garden beds, open space w/ kids play areas, secure bike storage units, deconstructed old buildings (vs. demo), preserved all large trees on the site, etc.....
