Last night’s Governor's Forum was hosted by Westside Economic Alliance and moderated by their Executive Director, Elizabeth Mazzara Meyers. The topics included housing, transportation, business, and workforce. Speaker Tina Kotek and Senator Betsy Johnson joined for a virtual discussion and forum on regional growth. Each candidate outlined their vision for how to attract new business and increase the supply of housing in Oregon. The forum was sponsored by several organizations, including the Westside Economic Alliance, Home Builders Association of Metropolitan Portland, Clackamas County Business Alliance, Columbia Corridor Association, Oregon Smart Growth, and Working Waterfront Coalition of Portland. In the coming days, we’ll be releasing the full video of the forum on HBA's website. Click here to read a recap of the event by the Beaverton Valley Times.
