HBA is preparing to offer testimony in a proposed change to policy that the City of Beaverton is considering regarding expanding options available to builders, contractors, and residents for demolition debris removal and drop boxes for commercial trash. Given the limiting nature that some franchise agreements can have on commercial trash collection services, construction companies may find it difficult to source trash removal services and equipment for their projects or business in the city. Therefore, Council is considering adding options in the city for supplementary drop-box and removal services. We anticipate the city and Council take the issue up in early October.
