The HBA is awarded Association Excellence Awards for Government Affairs Efforts


The National Association of Home Builders recently announced that the HBA was selected as the winner of three 2018 Association Excellence Awards. Two of the awards recognize our advocacy work in the Best Regional Government Affairs Effort category, for Successfully Advocating to Expand the Urban Growth Boundary, and Best HBA Partnership/Coalition category, for our Builder, Remodeler, and Building Official Roundtable: a Partnership with the Oregon Building Officials Association.

These two awards illustrate our dedication to regional housing and innovative approach to engaging members and other stakeholders in the building community. While we are proud to be selected as the winner in these categories against more than 130 other HBA’s who applied, we are proud of all the hard work and accomplishments over the last year. Thanks to the endless support of our members and sponsors and work by our dedicated staff, we have won more Association Excellence Awards over the last ten years than any other HBA in the country.
