Nearly 700 National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) members from across the nation converged on Capitol Hill today for NAHB’s 2019 Legislative Conference to urge their lawmakers to support policies that will increase the production of quality, affordable housing and keep the housing recovery moving forward. The Portland delegation met with four of our congresspeople and both senators to discuss workforce and immigation, trade and tariffs, long-term GSE reform, flood insurance, and affordable housing tax credits. Our national advocacy helps bolster relationships at the federal level, which are critical to advancing housing friendly policies in D.C. Next Article
