HBA Hosts Hillsboro Energy Code Webinar to Educate Members

On Tuesday January 25th, HBA along with the City of Hillsboro, Earth Advantage and Energy Trust of Oregon held a webinar to educate members on the energy code score requirement that became law in September 2021. The webinar highlighted energy code compliance; who is required to get it, the process of getting an energy score, when and how an energy score must be publicly listed, and other specifics of the ordinance. In addition, it also helped builders understand the process for converting an EPS score and what type of energy rater is qualified to do it as well as the incentive programs tied to energy efficiency in building.
