On September 25th, HBA members and PGE leadership hosted a joint executive roundtable meeting to discuss shared priorities and resolve field-related issues between new home construction and utility services. This member-only roundtable not only informed our builders about current market data but also provided the opportunity to offer direct feedback and suggestions to improve industry-utility relations. For more than two hours, nearly 30 members worked with PGE’s senior leadership teams to work through supply chain challenges, service and design issues, and identify steps to improve utility-builder relations. This was the first in a series of meetings for HBA’s key member executives to have a direct dialogue with PGE decision-makers, and to identify solutions that will make our industry stronger and more efficient. We share more direct updates following the meeting with the rest of the industry and offer any materials that surface in the coming days.
