OHBA CEO Presents Legislative Update at HBA Membership Luncheon

At the recent HBA Membership Luncheon, Mark Long, Oregon Home Builders Association (OHBA) CEO, presented a legislative update to the members and staff in attendance. Highlighting industry wins from the 2021 OHBA Legislative Report, Long described the unique challenges of lobbying in a pandemic environment while advocating on behalf of the industry on issues such as land use, building codes, environmental protections, wildfire rebuilding and protection, and many others. He also offered a preview of what to expect during the 2022 short legislative session as well as future sessions.
