HBA Members Support the Kenton Women’s Village

Phase one of the Pod Build Challenge has begun! A total of 21 teams have accepted the challenge to build sleeping pods for the Kenton Women's Village, a safe, dignified, and temporary sanctuary for women seeking to transition to permanent housing. HBA members are participating in the challenge, building nine sleeping pods for the village.

HBA recognizes our members Builders FirstSource, Stephens Homes, LLC, Elite Development NW, Legend Homes, D.R. Horton Homes and BC Custom Construction Inc. for representing Home Builders Foundation-HomeAid Portland and HBA. The Foundation will also support phase two of the project that will focus on the community spaces at the Village, including the kitchen, showers and bathrooms.
