The challenge to build sleeping pods for the Kenton Women's Village, a safe, dignified, and temporary sanctuary for women seeking to transition to permanent housing is wrapping up. HBA members participating in the competition will be installing their pods for the build-challenge judging on Friday, April 5 at a Community Day and Celebration at the Kenton Women’s Village. HBA recognizes our members Builders FirstSource, Stephens Homes, LLC, Elite Development NW, Legend Homes, D.R. Horton Homes and BC Custom Construction Inc. for representing Home Builders Foundation-HomeAid Portland and the HBA. The Foundation will also support phase two of the project that will focus on the community spaces at the Village, including the kitchen, showers and bathrooms.
