Home Builders Association GA staff, Staci McIntire and Ryan Makinster attended the 2022 Portland Business Alliance Annual Meeting on June 30th at Providence Park. More than 550 guests attended the meeting. Chair John Maher gave insight into the state of the PBA and aimed focus on the Black Business Association of Oregon, which advocates for business development for Black, Indigenous, People of Color (BIPOC). The PBA also shared a report of Oregon’s Athletic, Outdoor Team and Recreation industries – Oregon: The State of Sport, which supports over $29 billion per year in economic output. PBA also spoke of their advocacy efforts that have resulted in over $100M in livability and public safety efforts to the city, county and state; primarily directed at restoring the region.
