HBA’s Political Action Committee: September Fundraising Drive

The General Election on November 8th, 2022 is just a couple of months away! Heading into the election season, the Government Affairs Committee is preparing to engage and interview the region’s many candidates for elected office. We will soon be considering which candidates and measures to endorse, while also considering financial contributions from our Political Action Committee (PAC), Oregonians for Affordable Housing. Given the level of impact that local municipalities have on housing and land use development, our political engagement is critical to our industry’s success. This is why we’re launching a fundraising campaign during the month of September to raise $50,000 in PAC contributions so that we can support pro-housing and pro-growth candidates.

We will soon be reaching out to members with direct appeals and opportunities to engage in our political work in the coming days. If you would like to help us launch our fall campaign, please use this link to contribute: https://secure.anedot.com/ofah/affordable-housing. And remember, all contributions make a serious difference —whether $100 or $10,000, your engagement with our PAC matters. For more information on HBA's PAC, contact Preston Korst at prestonk@hbapdx.org.
