On April 12, the US Supreme Court issues a ruling in Sheetz v. County of El Dorado, California which expanded on its previous decision to limit the type and scope of fees that local jurisdictions can charge for new development. This case will no doubt have reverberations across the homebuilding industry. We are grateful that our friends at Jordan Ramis have drafted a thoughtful and locally-inspired analysis of the case.
