Ascending from her seat as City Commissioner, Rachel Lyles-Smith was Oregon City’s clear choice for Mayor in its March 9th special election. Mayor-elect Lyles-Smith has a deep understanding of land use and came to politics from the Department of Land Conservation and Development.
