Portland Bureau of Development Services hosting discussion on Erosion and Sediment Control in Residential Development

This Friday, October 19th, the Portland Bureau of Development Services is hosting a presentation and discussion on the basics of erosion and sediment control in residential development. Recently, BDS created the Property Compliance Division which enforces Portland’s Title 10 erosion and sediment control regulations for residential construction sites.

At the October 19th event, BDS will discuss these topics:

Why is erosion and sediment control required
The basics of erosion and sediment control best management practice installation and maintenance
Changes in inspection request sequencing
How to prepare for erosion control inspections

Registration is not required. The event will take place on Friday, October 19th from noon – 1 pm. Bring your own lunch. It will be located at the Bureau of Development Services, Room 2500 B (2nd Floor). 1900 SW 4th Ave, Portland.
